Nestled in the heart of stunning Sicilian countryside, Locanda Rurale Santa Marta became our perfect retreat for relaxation and gastronomic delight during our holiday. The tranquil atmosphere allowed us to unwind from the hustle and bustle, with the added bonus of a lovely outdoor pool where we often found ourselves enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We indulged in the family-style meals prepared by Maria, where every dish - from the homemade pasta to the fresh catch of the day - was crafted with heart, leaving us eager to taste what nonna would whip up next. And I must say, the free airport shuttle was a fantastic convenience that took the stress out of our travels. The comfortable, well-kept rooms, complete with air conditioning and private bathrooms, provided us with everything we needed for a restful stay. For those seeking adventure, being just a short drive from Cava Grande's majestic views made it an ideal base for our outdoor explorations. I cannot sing enough praises for this hidden gem-run by the warmest-hearted family you'll ever meet!
